This spot used a kids book “the little engine that could” as the audio tension to the vintage footage of early attempts at flight. It was lyrical and powerful. The kid who recorded it nailed it on the first take from his home on an old tape recorder. We asked him to come into a studio and do it again, but he could never capture the innocence of the first read. So we cleaned it up and ran with it. My daughter, Julia, needs to be credited for helping with this idea. I read this book to her hundreds of times.
